What does the KFN investigate?

Eight research projects are currently in progress at the KFN. In most cases, the staff taking part in the investigations represent various disciplines. This interdisciplinary approach to research has proved effective since the mid-1980s, as has the principle of developing one's own research ideas and seeking contracts from outside only if they integrate well into the overall concept.
